Red Eye Express on Chicken?!?!

Got a Spatchcocked bird drying out in the fridge for later. Anyone use this rub for poultry? I know it works great for steaks. Any first-hand experience/comments would be appreciated. Thanks

    I've used it and it's good. I also make my own espresso-cocoa rub that is very good on chicken.

    Here's my recipe;

    1 Tbs. finely ground espresso coffee beans
    1 Tbs. pure ancho chile powder
    1 tsp. natural cocoa powder
    1 tsp. granulated garlic
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground fennel seed
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    4 tsp. kosher salt
    2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

    I imagine it will taste good. made a batch of Mickey's coffee rub some time back, and it tasted great on everything - chicken, pork, beef.

    It's good, I used it yesterday on a spatch bird and a pork tenderloin. I liked it on both (too spicy on the tenderloin for my wife.) I also really really like Cow Lick on chicken. It's my go-to chicken rub.
