Carson Daly is an egger!

Watching Jay Leno last night, Carson was on and describing a failed Thanksgiving turkey cook on his big green egg.  He had to explain to Jay what an egg was, and he documented it all with pictures (Carson, are you on here?).  It sounds like his dome thermometer failed, and he overcooked the turkey.  Here's a link to the clip, http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/video/carson-daly-part-1/n44313  the egg talk starts about 1:45 into the interview.

Looks like a large egg with a cast iron grate.  He brined his bird per Adam Perry Lang, but should have followed Mad Max for setting up the cook - did not have a pan to catch the drippings among other things.
