    @mickey, since my wife is Puerto Rican, we do a lot of rice and beans combos. There are some bean soups I do plus the refried variety. Lastly, baked beans. I grew up with blasphemous "chili" but don't call it that anymore, now that VI knows my address.

    Be afraid, very afraid of VI. The boy is just not right.

  • Skyline Chili is one of those "meh" things for me. Don't hate it, don't love it but those who do love it are pretty rabid about it so they must be doing something right. Quite frankly, I like my chili better than anyone else although the Cowlick recipe floating around here looks like it's worth trying.
