first all sous vide meal, salmon, squash, carrots

Just like the title says!
My third time using the Demi and decided to make a full sous vide meal.  I did spaghetti sqaush with a little garlic and some herbs, a tad of maple syrup, salt and pepper, then some carrots with cumin, salt and pepper and some herbs.  I did the veggies at 183 for 1hr. They turned out great!  I did the salmon at 130 for 50 minutes.

  • The salmon was tasty but not totally convinced.  I need to sear the salmon afterwards next time.  It reminded me of poached salmon.  The carrots were the best thing out of the three.  Tasty organic ones whos flavors really intensified with the sous vide process.
