Fall Sliced Beef (heavy on the pics)
Not sure what it is about the fall but I love sliced beef this time of year. In the depths of our deep freeze earlier this week I found the beef round I've been saving for just the occasion. Last night I smothered it with some Mohave Garlic Pepper and today it made it's way briefly on to the grill for a high heat sear followed by a couple of hours of medium heat and cherry smoke on the Egg. Pulled about 120F and sliced it up. Was pretty good about taking pics along the way until it came time to eat.
