Did I fly you down there?  I flew the LAX-SJD on the 17th...enjoy!
Just far enough north of DFW to be "rural"...and close enough to be urban, depending on my mood.

That was on my list going to Cabo Wabo if I ever got there but not to sure now.  Was supposed to go see him Wednesday night (2 nights away) here in NY.  I bought these tickets months ago.  Got an email today that they cancelled the show due to "Unforseen Scheduling Conflict"  WTF.  BS.

Some pics from my last trip to Cabo and yes did shots at Sammy's aka Cabo Wabo. I love Cabo San Lucas. We threw Marley back and kept the yellow tail and seared some ahi tuna on the egg.

Last time I was there we went on a fishing charter with Pisces Fishing Charters.  They are located around the corner from Cabo Wabo.  Went out for tuna but on the way out, saw marlin swimmming everwhere, so we fished for them.  Had a blast.  Had succes with other charters in the past, but cannot recall the names.  In general, no trouble finding marlin.

Generally found good seafood restaurants around marina/harbor--but it is not uncommon to get hit with a condo sales pitch by your waiter.  Mi Casa restaurant is good for Mexican fare---it is off of the harbor a couple of blocks.

There is a public beach (forgot the name) closeby where the snorkeling is great.  It is where all of the snorkeling operators end up.  Easier and cheaper just to drive to it in your car, rather than going there in an operator's boat.

Sunrise from our balcony at La Estancia a couple of years ago. Go to Ediths for dinner at least once.

  • I looked at Edith's menu.  It doesn't have prices.  I'm scared of places that don't put prices on the menu.

I believe Pisces was the company we chartered from as well. Lots of seals.
