maple mustard

hello all.  I have just discovered some a maple syrup guy who lives in my town.  He also makes maple mustard (which I have never heard of) so I had to buy some.  Just got it this morning.  I think I see a pork butt coated in maple mustard this weekend.  has anyone ever heard of this or tried some?  thoughts?

  • Yes. Can't say I've ever used it on a pork butt. I have used it on top of cedar plank salmon though.

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

  • Hi Kevin! I knew you were crazy busy. As far as the maple mustard goes, I wouldn't put it on a pork butt. I put yellow mustard on mine and I can't taste it in the finished product. More importantly, Wilma can't either and she hates mustard. TOTN's idea to use it on salmon sounds delicious! I bet it's killer on a sandwich!
