Temperature Probe Stand

It just struck me today that it would be really neat to be able to have a stand with some clips on it that I could use to put my temp probe on INSIDE the dome

Then rather than placing the probe on the grill or on the top of the dome I could put it 1/2 way up

Anyone seen such a but of kit ?

I forget what company used to sell such a product, but haven't seen one advertised in years now, but it was called a tree I think and just had a heavy metal base with a rod sticking up in the middle with a simple alligator clip on the end. You should be able to make something like that pretty easy. I OTOH just clip my BBQ Guru temp probe to my dome thermometer probe inside. Pretty easy solution too.
