Can't wait to try it out. I am all about safety so I ordered the "protective rubber" too.

I wanted an orange but the backlit only comes in red, white and blue so I went red.

IMO one of the best eggcesories to have. Makes me a better cook.

Just thought I'd report back after having the weekend to try this out.  The backlighting is nice but I'm not sure if necessary.  It isn't super bright but it does help in low light situations.  Just glad I finally have my Thermapen.

My wife makes me come in poke the food with it if she cooks something inside.
