Ready for paella
Working in Southeast Cincinnati and ran by "Jungle Jims International Market". Really cool place. Groceries from every country. Seemed bigger than Walmart. I scored some paella rice and a small pan. I can't wait to &#@ up my first batch and learn how to cook it. At least I found the rice.... Thought it was gonna be Uncle Ben's.

I've done Paella a couple times now... was pretty certain I'd bugger up the first few cooks too... VERY happy to report - I did NOT bugger them up at all.Best advice I can give you - go read, re-read, re-re-read, and save the Naked Whiz Paella Primer on an iPad (or similar readily accessable) bookmark to read again later.Absolute top priority is to get everything ready to go before you go out to light the egg (meaning, the mis en place part). You'll be too busy at the Egg cooking, to go back inside to chop up your veggies.If you follow the instructions from the Whiz, it's actually not THAT daunting. I think of it as a busy, but not particularly challenging cook.Good luck.[Insert clever signature line here]

I &#@ 'ed up my first batch of paella. Need to get back on that horse and try again. I think we tried to cram too many ingredients in it. I'm sure you'll do better than me.
