I got the boot....

.....for my new Thermapen. After all the abuse my 5 year Thermapen has taken I thought I might try the boot on my new one and I have to say I like the feel and think it will offer a degree or two more protection. So after spending the extra $8 I'm happy. My old one still works but is a little flakey every so often from all the drops and being left out in the rain once. I do have to say they both still read the same temperature though the new red one is slightly faster but not by more then a second.
