13 pounds of pork butt ready for the morning

Got home late this afternoon from Pittsburgh after last nights game.  Party tomorrow night and I promised to smoke up some pulled pork.  Store only had 2 butts, an 8 pounder and a smaller 5 pounder.  Bought them both - planning an early morning (7 AM or so) start for a 6:30 PM finish.  Going to start at 250 degrees, and foil and bump up to 350 as needed to finish on time.  I am going to plan on putting both on at the same time, and FTC which ever is done first until the second one finishes.  Unless someone convinces me to put the big one on first and follow a couple hours later with the small one.

I would stick to your plan. With the butts having a mind of their own it would be my luck the bigger one would finish first.
