Mold moisture rain

  • Is it not odd that we have a wide array of experiences?? Maybe it's had something to do with the food parts left in the egg.
Yes, I think so.  My small Egg hasn't seen food inside of it for about 10 years.  It is used exclusively for charcoal testing.  Never ever seen mold in it.  When the large and medium have had mold, the worst of the mold was on food remnants and grease.

Seems like a moisture issue. Don't see mold in Austin. If you get heavy morning dew, you probably get mold unless it is covered by a roof? If you live in Maine (born there), you will get mold no matter what. And mosquitos.
ive lost my egg in the fog before, and its only maybe 8 feet from the door.  for some reason im not getting many mosquitoes this year though and cant explain why

I have two large eggs that live about 150' apart, the one out in the open has had mold issues the one under a patio roof has never had mold. I use the patio egg more in the summer and the open egg more in the winter months. This is my non scientific study and I'm not sure if this means anything, It's been years since I slept in a Holiday Inn. :)>-
