been doing a lot of "make ahead" cooking

Like many of you I like to have things made ahead and frozen. Just so happens my larder emptied at the same time. So far these last two days I've done:
# a double batch of pizza sauce - yield for 12 pizzas
# a double batch of Chuck Lane's chili dog sauce - yield for 50 chili dogs
# presently smoking 1 pound of bacon to cut up for use on pizzas
# getting ready to make 2 quarts of J.K.'s Boar Soul BBQ sauce
# and to top off tonight's rib eye steaks I'm making a fresh Vidalia Onion Pie this afternoon.
Just call me a cookin' happy retiree!!!
