Dropped the $$ for a Thermo pen

I hope all this talk is worth while.

While up In northern MI , I came across a thermo pen. Hemmed and hawed . Well I'm doing some chicken breasts. Hope it woks as fast as all say.

Got a bright green so I can find it in the drawer better.

Actually  my wife bought it for me as an early Christmas present.

I have two. Like you I was on the fence about spending the money but they are worth it. I use mine for every cook except ribs.

I did the same a week ago. Wife complained that kids had left the freezer open in garage. She wanted an alarm. I happened to find good option on their site, as well as ph tester for pool. I figured, might as well get thermapen too, right??

How has the PH tester for the pool performed?

Backlit ? I didn't notice. But I don't grill to much when it's dark. I do have a light to clamp on the handle.
