raffle winners.....drumroll please
Let's start off thanking this forum for stepping up and really helping the folks at Operation BBQ Relief. We had 77 donors give $4025...I think that's pretty damn good. These funds will go to help quite a few needy people. $4025...that's a lot of pulled pork sandwiches. Thanks for supporting OBR. Thanks to the folks that continually "bumped" the thread. Special shout to @cazzy...tons of help and good ideas.
Secondly, thanks to the businesses and folks who donated gifts for the raffle. When buying new stuff for your egg please remember these guys and support them. Include Rockwood Charcoal in this list. Jonathan donated a pallet of lump to OBR. All these companies are very generous and make some damn fine products.

Congrats to the winners! Thanks to the organizers, the prize donors, and those that gave!
Since henapple mentioned pulled pork sandwiches for those in need, using these assumptions:
-avg pork shoulder butt 8 lbs @ $1.50/lb or $12/butt
-40% weight loss during cook
-1/3 lb of cooked pork per sandwich
I did a quick calculation:
-$4025 / $12/butt = 335 butts
-335 butts x 8 lbs/butt = 2680 lbs (uncooked) x 60% (account for loss in weight from cook) = 1608 lbs cooked
-1608 lbs / .33 lbs/sandwich = 4,873 sandwiches!
That's a lot of mouths that'll be fed. Granted OBR can likely get pork for less and buy more shoulder or buy the bread, slaw, etc... to make the sandwiches.
