Oh, also.
Often times as people start to get active with their new Egg's and cooking on one - there are common questions. I thought it would be helpful if I provided answers to the top 5 common questions new Egg Owners have. Will save considerable time. Here goes.
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Sometimes, depends on the mood of the wife
4. No
5. Yeah, I do believe CenTex really did do that.
Just kidding - fire away with questions and answers - that's what this forum is all about.

I am considering a XL or Large. Will be my first. Several people gave excellent suggestions. Just wondering about your decision to go XL. Number you usually cook for, etc. Thanks, MT332

Welcome aboard. And since it hasn't been said, enjoy the journey!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

OK, we enjoyed some chicken on the first cook. I think I threw it on too early but it still turned out great! Not a single bite leftover! 400* for 1 hour - direct heat. Prob try indirect next time I cook this.
Feel free to critique!

You made a great choice buying the egg prebuilt. I have an XL and it was one of the worst things I've ever had to put together.... and that includes kids toys with 6,000 pieces and only pictures for instructions.

Look at that, first egg trick right at the start.
