XL goes 33 hours without reload this weekend

Another XL mini-report: 2nd in the series.[p]This weekend I wanted to see how long the XL could go on a low and slow without reloading. I loaded it all the way up the fire box and half way up the ring. It went for 33 hours at an average temp of about 220 degrees grill temp. Sometimes it got as high as 290, sometimes as low as 190, but that was the average and there was still lump left over. I bet it had another 3 hours in it anyway if I had let it go until it burned out. [p]So, the bottom line is no worries about having to reload the XL at competitions. Looks like it could almost go back to back competitions without the need to reload. Cool. [p]Brett[p]
