What is the tell-tale signs of a new style mini vs an old style mini.  I recall someone mentioned that if it is older the plate setter won't work without cutting.  I see the handle looks different in the ebay listing.

I'm not sure how to tell the difference.  It looks about the same as the mini listed on the BGE site:

I think one giveaway is the nest, but the CL mini is not in a nest (looks like it is in a flower pot stand).

When BGE made the plate setter for the mini they redesigned the fire ring with notches.  I think this is fairly new, so chances are this CL egg does not have the new fire ring.

I emailed the guy, he said he would take $225. He thinks its about 2yrs old. I told him my wife would shoot me.

A brand-new small (never used) and nest went for $650 on the Chicago CL. Retail is $539 for the egg and $129 for the nest. Buy it.
