<p />Hi folks.[p]I have to admit; deciding to go to the Texas Eggfest was a good decision. In spite of the heat, everyone on the Spring Chicken Team enjoyed themselves. I certainly did. Maybe a little too much hee hee. [p]There was so much delicious food. So many creative recipes. So many old friends to greet. So many Fresh Eggheads to meet. So many neat ideas. So many new products. So many New BGE’s to flavor the air. So many nice door prizes. So little time to take it all in. [p]And to add to my list of fond memories, MarinaRanger met me just as I arrived and presented me with a personalized handle for my Egg with her name etched into the wood as the co-maker. What a treat. Installing it on my Egg was the first thing I did when I got home. Thanks Marina. You can bet I will think of you every time I use it. [p]A special thanks to Liesel and Ed for all they did to make everyone comfortable. There’s going to be a special place for them in The Great Eggdom In The Sky (hopefully not for a very long time because we still need ‘em here on the ground)[p]As for the Sponsors and Door-Prize-Donators, many thanks for all you did to add to everyone’s enjoyment. As for 1Shot1Kill, our best wishes for a lifetime of pleasure after winning the BGE Setup. You are officially an Egghead now, not just the Son of an Egghead. As soon as the margaritas wear off (in your case about three days hee hee) you can start some serious practice cooking. Then you two will be a winning father and son team on the competition circuit.[p]Finally, I’m grateful to the members of The Spring Chicken Team (Red Shirts), Pam and Tom, and of course my lifetime Sweetie and number one squeeze, Judy. They let me play but constantly reminded me of my need to be cautious. [p]I can’t wait to see all the photos. [p]Until next year, I am,[p]Spring “Played Hard-Resting Easy” Chicken

Spring Chicken,[p]Thanks for the kind words. It was sure great to see you again. We were all very glad that yall decided to come this year. The Red Shirts did bring some pretty good margaritas too. Trust me my hangover was hanging out all the next morning while bakeing in the sun with Dad tring to get my new Baby set up. I am just so happy and my first ribs were great. [p]Can't wait for next year, see ya then.[p]Ryan

    Smokin Joe,
Thanks. I tried to put as much appreciation as I could in a few words, but you know me... Why use ten words when three thousand will do. It was a pleasure meeting you too sir. As a matter of fact, I'm having a rum 'n coke as we speak. Maybe I will have another on in your honor. Yes...[p]Spring "Thinking Chicken-Feed" Chicken
