This is my Dad holding my daughter around Halloween 2008.  We had to put him in a home for alzheimer's patients a few short months later.  I haven't had any meaningful conversation with him in years, but this is the first Father's Day since he passed away.  I miss you Dad.

Lost my Dad 13 yrs ago. Joined Marines @ age 17...BAR and on Iwo Jimo.

I lost my dad the same day my daughter was born. We had taken my wife to the hospital for delivery and came back to pick him up to see the baby. He was out and gone. Miss him a lot. My daughter is 15. Cant cook today. He was a damn fine Doc and taught me all I know.

Tough losing a Dad..sorry to hear @Aviator, we have great memories though until we meet again

My dad died in 1978, 6 months before I got married. I never really had any adult time with him, he only knew the immature kid  miss you dad and love you.
