I had the pleasure of being a bbq judge at the Sevierville, Tenn. contest this weekend. They had one of the Outdoor Life network challenge things going on there. The contestants were given large BGEs to cook on. I think the next one is in Kansas City next weekend and then Lincolnton, NC June 3-4. I do not know if the eggs will be used at these or not. I think the tv guy told me these will air in October. It seems to me this would give someone familar with the egg a kind of head start.

Charles in SC,[p]It is the third week in October and is sponsored by the Big Green Egg manufacturer here in Atlanta. I would expect to see formal details about when/where and registering from them.
