A lot of work went into this. Not by me of course, but I'm sure the pottery maker in China that shipped it to Home Goods put a lot of effort into it.
Very stable and perfect height. I probably don't need the nest.

That's a cool solution!
I wish they still made the old curly style mini nest. I passed on the new style when I bought my mini - detracts from the mini's cute factor!#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
looks good, i'm working on figuring out what to do with mine it just sits on top my table by my large. @caliking i can get you that base they have one at my dealer from when I bought my mini, i didn't buy it because i believe @mickey said there was an issue with some mini's cracking due to expansion. plus I want to build a mini table or do something like this for mine.

Finally.... Someone puts the mini on the pedestal it deserves!

@U_tarded: i didnt know the old closed ring curly leg style stand had that problem. If you are at your dealer anytime, could you ask how much it is? I'll try to look into the cracking issue.
Thanks!#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
First I've heard of a problem with the stand. Should I ditch it? I was going to put a sheet of silicone under it anyway (like folks do with the egg carten).Mamaroneck

http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1149148/i-know-i-should-but-i-need-assurance#latest That is the link it was @fishlessman who brought it up its about 1/2 way down. @hic thanks for the link I am starting mine today but my wife told me I couldn't spend a lot of money on it so i am repurposing some old pallets and some left over tile ( its a temp solution as we are looking for a larger house).

That's a really cool stand. I also like the hockey goal in the background. He shoots...He scores!Flint, Michigan

That's one of three or four around the house. Also doubles as a lacrosse or soccer goal depending on the season!Mamaroneck
