Pride & Humility

We're so proud of our boy and his academic achievements, but even more so of his humility in accepting the awards and praise. The irony of his humility making my chest swell with pride is not lost on me...
 

 
 
Here are his awards for most accomplished reader, writer and public speaker, highest math scores, highest academic scores overall, his metal for being on the Principal's List (all "A" grades) for the entire year and his Gold Certificate from the President's Education Awards Program for Outstanding Academic Excellence. This is the second year in a row he has been all A's and highest scores.

Congrats and beat that chest.
My kids are 4 & 1 so I got some time. I remember and realize now how proud my dad was of me and my athletic/education accomplishments.

BTW public speaker? That is some major skill right there... Good stuff.

His Dad has too many skeletons in his closet for a Presidential run... poor kid.

Thanks y'all. I'm thinking about making some sort of shadow box to display these things (and the one's he got last year. I'm looking to make this shadowbox scalable (able to add on) in the hope that he continues these kinds of achievements. Any ideas?
