First corn of the season, and first on the cob ever

Wegman's had some good looking yellow and white (my favorite) corn on the cob. Only cooked up 2, since the Mrs. doesn't eat corn, and I never thought the 3 year old grand daughter would like it. Was I ever wrong. I was half way through the ear, and the little one asked "Can I try it?" Never able to refuse her, I handed over my half eaten ear of corn. She finished it off cleanly. Guess I'll be cooking an extra ear from now on.

My tomatoes are toast. Peppers too I think. Bought my wife a Japanese maple for mother's day, thinking that may be leafless this summer

Not local corn here in Central PA. Frost warning tonight and have all my plants and strawberries covered. First corn of the season to appear at Wegmans. Not sure where it was from but it sure was fresh.__________________________________________It's not a science, it's an art. And it's flawed.- Camp Hill, PA -
