What is this?
Ran to Sam's Club over lunch to pick up some turkey for the weekend cooking.
Browsing through the meat area ( which I love to do, but my wife doesn't understand) I found this. Right next the Boston Butts - the label read PORK CUSHION MEAT.
Was large, funny shaped. Any idea what this is?

If I'm understanding correctly, it is a particular muscle that is part of the picnic cut (from the shoulder).Just guessing, but if it was at Sam's it might have been a big pack (like 8-10 lbs), but I would guess there might be several smaller pieces of meat packed together in one cryo pack.Might be fun to try for some quick pulled pork.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
