Xl Hinges

Just pick up my new Xl put it together open the lid and I am not happy with the way it opens. Up and back cutting down on height . In the two side disc that came with it Chef and "Eggspert" Kevin Rathbun has hinges that open up like a large egg .Does any one know where I can get hinges like his, or is his just for the Eggsperts. Thank you for your help in advance

    I believe because of the size and weight of the XL lid the compound hinge keeps the weight centered over egg more. I think that if the Xl lid opened like the smaller ones there would be tendency for the XL to tip over backwards. Just my observation and opinion.
