OT: What is your grocery/household budget a month?

I looked at our budget and without eating out, we average $450 for just 2 of us. Granted, I buy a lot of fish, fruit and vegetables and I try to avoid most processed foods. That was the average for last year and looking at this year it has increased by about $60 / mo for the same exact purchases. Sad really that fresh fruit, veg and meat costs so much. I'm "old" enough to remember when I could feed 2 of us for about $50 to $75 a week...

Family of 5 and we are around 450 including cleaning supplies and such plus dog food . WE use an envelope system that we have gone through from Dave Ramsey and we will actually be increasing our grocery budget since we feel we are missing on some important items.Large BGE
