Got me a XL last year for Father's Day , you are in for a treat.

I have used a weber for a long time, but got my xl a few weeks ago and it is blowing me away. So far so easy to cook with. 1st cook was chicken peg legs and orka. Then did 5.5 lb Boston butt, cooked at 270 at dome for 12 hours. mainly seeing how it would do overnight. Was great.I cook all the time wife has it easy there. But love doing it and trying different things. Going to do 2 Butts tomorrow night,

As far as table goes is in progress.. having a lot of rain and trying to work in between the

 weather. Hope not being to pic happy.. For Cazzy I will get a close up on stand and Mr Cooper did a great job, thanks again.

Building drawers. One big on bottom and one top left. Then going to wrap in oak with a clear stain.

Have a Q. From what I see in your pictorial, you have a tabletop of wood and then have granite layed onto it. So .... why?

I removed the wood and put granite on top. It was temp. the table was for short use till I built what I wanted then decided to use the frame and finish the way I wanted. On the bottom I had pavers there till I got my stand.

Nah, he got my custom iron stand from a blacksmith in San Antonio.
