I'm curious also. A retired neighbor gave me an old electric smoker. I've never used it but I have several bags of sawdust like smoking wood.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

I have used them down the side around my plate setter. It worked fine. Really probably a great idea and easy to add more if needed. I just had some around from a Treager trailer cooker. Might be smart to keep a bag around just for that.
