The long food probe on the ET-732 isn't great on the mini. I just cooked a small pork loin and had to position it on the far side of the grill to get the probe to fit in. I emailed Maverick about a smaller food probe and they suggested that I poke a hole with the food probe and then insert a grid probe into it. Makes sense. Anyone try it? I usually do shorter higher-temp cooks on the mini, but every once in a while I'll do a whole game hen or pork loin and like the probe.
Too bad it means I need to buy another grid probe.
