Smart thermometer - Kickstarter project

Some of you may be interested in this project. These guys have developed a thermometer that plugs into a smartphone. They are looking for investors on kickstarter.com. I am in no way affiliated with them - just stumbled upon it today while checking the site out and thought it may be of some interest here.
