Honouring the Fallen

Hi,

I thought some of you who have family in the military might like this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI6TRTBZUMM

This is our 2nd 1st Royal NZ Infantry Regiment offering their sorrow and farewells to their brother in arms via the regimental haka at his funeral. The soldier in question was attached to a sniper division (hence the blokes in gillie suits) on duty in Afghanistan.

Each division of our army has it's own regimental haka (war chant), largely due to the influence of the Maori people who have always been fearless warriors and have long been a core part of our armed forces.

Anyway, not meaning to soap box, just thought some of you would enjoy seeing it :)
