What an incredible weekend it was. Everyone at Seasonal was amazing, so special thanks to Dale and his wonderful crew. The staff from Atlanta was awesome as well and it was such a treat to get to spend so much quality time with Jim and Brenda.[p]Now as for the rest of you folks, well you all know what you did. LOL.[p]It was well worth the drive up there and even the drive back (I'll try and post the details of my drive home later but it felt like I was on a road trip that Stump Baby had coordinated. It involved an hour long funeral I got to attend for a total stranger, and that was just in North Carolina)[p]The fest was so much fun and the food as always was amazing. I was reflecting on the way back and realized that everyone there that made food was right up there in skill level with a lot of the people that I know and have worked with and they are some of the finest Culinarians in the world. You'd be hard pressed to find a better group of people with more food skill and knowledge. It's gonna be a bugaboo to keep up with y'all in October and next year back in Waldorf now that I've been a freeloader twice I know I have to put up or shut up from now on...lol.[p]I'm basically numb right now from the trip back but it is a warm fuzzy kind of numb, you know the kind like when you're really really buzzed and cowering in a trailer like a real man during a hellacious thunderstorm, it's that kind of numb.[p]I plan on keeping in touch with all of y'all on a regular basis from now on, so consider yourselves warned.[p]
And finally, congratulations to Kenny (AKA Hatch) for not injuring himself while proving my point that the strange stand alone structure was indeed an elevator shaft and to Chubby for being the hardest core of all the afterpartyers and the last man standing in the parking lot.[p]Sorry for the ramblings and the long post.[p]Night all and thanks again to everyone for the great time.[p]Bobby[p]
