Hi everybody! I am new to the forum, just bought my first egg (large) and this cypress table. I wanted to know what you guys think I should seal it with. Thanks! Love the site so far, tons of info here!

Looks nice! I think you should seal it. Some kind of spar paint would be the best.

2 or 3 coats of Spar varnish should do it. Looks good, glad to have you aboard. Look forward to some cook pictures

Thanks for the responses. It looks like I shall be putting a few coats on. I suppose it would be nice to find a cover that would fit.

BGE makes a cover that fits over the whole table $$$$ or that just covers the dome or you can make a cover
