Hello...Can't wait to get my "first of many" Eggs. I pick up my XL tomorrow at Eggtoberfest ATL.. So excited. I just finished my new table and it's waiting for it's egg delivery tomorrow. I appreciate all the advice and postings in this blog. Yes this forum has become my addiction like FB is to my daughters, but more expensive. Already have some Eggcessories (Pizza stone, Deep Dish Pizza stone, and lots of Cast Iron from years of cooking on the Weber) I have been registered and commenting for a couple of months now and enjoy all the postings. Looking forward to Eggtoberfest tomorrow...weather is going to be beautiful..
All in all I did it pretty cheap
$50 for remnant Granite Piece (cut square myself)
Base wood was scrap and leftovers I had around the house (just built my deck this spring)
Outside Pine T+G - clearance at Home Depot $120
Hardware, slides hinges, $60
Castors Urethane from Harbor Freight $20
4 coats Spar Varnish
Cover...will work on this next weekend.
Kind Regards...Papa C
