    Don't do what I do. I have a major knife problem.

    You can sharpen your stuff well past your wildest expectations with the 3 stone kit.
    Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

    I am really happy someone started this thread.  I have been really frustrated at finding a good, electric sharpener.  I don't have the patience for stones.  I currently use the Edgeware Ceramic Sharpener. Available at William Sonoma.  Works well.  But, reading through this thread, I may have to consider an option.
