Cracked open a jar of Sutton's shine. Incredible!
When in doubt add more pepper.

  • Yeah.  Hank Jr funded the company, and a guy that Popcorn passed his skills on to is making the whiskey.  I haven't tried it yet, but I want to.

I did get some of Junior Johnson's Apple Pie Moonshine yesterday.  Man that's some good stuff too.

A guy at work told me about apple pie. Is it sweet?
Popcorn is only available in Tenn right now.
When in doubt add more pepper.
  • I only live a few miles from TN, so I hopefully will be able to get up there and get some soon..

Apple Pie literally tastes like apple pie.  Pretty dang surprising. It must be very cold to take the burn out though.

I put a shot glass and the popcorn in the freezer. Very smooth and mouth numbing.
When in doubt add more pepper.

This has been floating around the EGGfests for the last few years.
    Great beverage.

Beverage, Apple Pie Moonshine, Rib Bones

    INGREDIENTS:
    1 gallon    apple cider
    1 gallon    apple juice

    3 cups    sugar
6   cinnamon sticks (I sprinkled with additional cinnamon for good measure)
1 750 ml    bottle Moonshine or EverClear grain alcohol

    PROCEDURE:
1 Bring apple cider, apple juice, sugar and cinnamon sticks to a boil.
2 Cool completely and add EverClear. We used 151 proof, because that is all that is legal for purchase in Florida. Can also be found in 190 proof in some states.
3 We made this at home and served it chilled. We had many repeat customers who knew it was in our coolers. Be careful though, it is more potent than it tastes!!!

Be careful....this is more potent than it tastes!

I served this chilled......but I imagine it would be great heated.
