To all the folks that own BGEs and especially the men and women who are thinking of purchasing a Big Green Egg. Four days ago while cleaning my XL I discovered a small hairline crack running along the bottom of the kettle portion of the Egg. I called Bruce in Atlanta, I supplied him with pictures of the crack, he E-mailed me a letter to give to the shop owner were I purchased the egg, that was on Wednesday on Saturday I recieved a call that my new kettle was at the shop ready for pickup. Proof positive that BGE stands behind their product 100%.
