Help Found small hairline crack in XL

I was cleanning my XL of 6 years this morning and discovered a hairline crack that runs along the bottom and out through the air vent lower lip the crack in the the air vent does go all the way through the kettle wall I can feel it with a thumbnail but very small. The question is is this a problem or is it the nature of the beast? The crack does not go all the way across the bottom.

not sure but the ceramics have a life time warranty i'd call the mothership

Call the mothership or your dealer. My large developed a small crack in the base. About 6 months later, it went from side to side. It was basically splitting in half. The base was replaced under warranty.

If its not covered try JB Weld. I purchased a medium not too long ago that had been dropped. I repaired/covered the crack with some JB Weld. I've gotten it up to right around 700 with no troubles. JB Weld is also nontoxic. Good luck
