Question about Cutco knives (making a trade)

So I was looking on Craigslist. Saw a guy with 4 cutco table knives for trade. I have a pair of Oakley Whisker polarized glasses I have not worn in a year+ and I have a Oakley soft vault case. I offered to trade him that. He said that plus $30. Sound like a deal? The glasses are worth $80~ at this point.

You dont use the glasses. You would use the knives I assume. In reality, its $30 for the set of knives since the glasses dont do you any good. I say go for it.Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.

Cutco is having a sale right now and you can get 4 "table" knives for $107 just in case you wanted a reference figure (you need to sign into the website to get prices) Their table knives are everyday knives... think butter knife/steak combo. I have been very happy with mine.

We invested in Cutco knife set back in the 80's. Still using them every day. Highly recommend them!!

We just got a set of Cutcos, and my wife learned very quickly to keep band-aids in the kitchen. Those suckers are sharp!

Well I ended up not doing the trade. Someone offered me $100 for the glasses so sold yesterday. Wicked island mentioned that same set is on sale for $107 so will buy that way and only $7+tax out of pocket. Thanks everyoneBoom
