Chicken and Stuff

Catching up on posting some photo's...

Chicken, Corn, and avacadoes.   Chicken was on for over an hour.   Last 40 minutes had the corn on.   Avacadoes when on for the last 10-15 minutes.   Avacado prep was a light brushing of EEVO, salt & pepper.    Chicken was getting tender as I was moving some stuff around on the grill to turn the corn - the leg fell off....

Got the idea at the Salado Eggfest last spring, someone was serving them.  They are a staple now for us.   Have filled the seed hole with Picante sause and served with a spoon as an appetizer.   Served them as a side item in the skin.  Have scooped them out, served on top of Chicken and Salmon.

Versatile - easy.   If you like Avacado's - you will love them.

    Two things:

    1. I expect you to cook some of the avacados at Salado this year.
    2. I will be making them in the mean time.
    3. Thanks for sharing.

I ment three things from the start. How dare you question me.
Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.
  • advacados on the egg, never woudld have thought it, but the ideas sound awesome!  Thanks for sharing!

  • Hmm.. Not sure what to think about grilled Avocados.  I can't get enough of them raw.  I grew up with them and never heard of grilling them.  I did make an avocado soup years ago and it was ok, kind of weird.  Also had a piece of Avocado pie once.  How long do you cook them?  Just enough for grill marks?  I guess the smoke would compliment the Avacado, just like Avacado and bacon.

Grilled avocados?  Wife saw that and I suspect her panties were getting damp.  Can I say that here?  No offense intended.
