Beer and Sausage

Hudson Bend Meat Market  was recommended by a friend.  This was our second visit and we stocked up on some goodies.  Had the sausage tonight. So far everything we have cooked has been good.  Cooked on the mini.  Leftovers will go good with eggs in the morning.  The beer on the left is local and the one on the right from Louisiana.  
Only got this photo before battery died.

    I have had the strawberry and that is good.  Also brought home a 6 pack of Satsuma and that was good and didn't last very long.  Next time will bring back a case of several of their brews.  Have you had their root beer.  One of my father's clients brewed root beer and sold it at his food business and I have not tasted Root beer that good since.  That has been my quest for the past 30 years.

    We ate at Ruffino's (south of Baton Rouge).  They served pork jowls and they were so good.  The three of us waited to see who would be the first to lick their plate.  :-)
