For those of you with wooden table tops: How much room do you allow between the BGE and the wood to keep from burning down the house?
My actuary says I'm dead.

  • Originally, I think it was recommended to cut a 21" dia. hole, but I think most folks now cut a 22" hole, and if you can keep a 3/4" - 1" gap around the Egg, you'll be more than safe.
