two weird fish I caught

I caught these two fish in Padre Island.  I have no idea what they are called.  The first is really ugly.  The second one is kind of neat looking.

would you cook that indirect or direct?

I'm dieing over here. My phone doesn't have flash and the work puter filter won't allow it. My guess sight unseen is a sea robin. That one usually throws people off.

Monkfish are some gooood eatin'.  Taste like lobster.

Everyone except scientiest call those toadfish. They taste great but will bite the dog fire out of you if you're not carefull. At night, they make a super spooky sound that you can hear from shore or a dock. It's hard to describe. It's worth youtubeing to see if there is a vid with sound of them.
