These are some photographs I took of an orb weaver spider.  These spiders are about the size of a silver dollar.  They have extremely large fangs for there size.

How do you get the body fully cooked without burning the legs?

I give the legs a 30 minute soak to slow the cooking process. Takes a lot of practice to get it right.

All good suggestions, but here is how I've had them.  Throw them directly into the fire.  It burns the little hairs off so they don't irritate you.  Take them out and eat them like crab.  I can only vouch for tarantulas.  Haven't had the orb weaver yet.

Orb spiders if not cooked proper give me gas so I don't bother with them anymore. These guys are like the pork butt of the sipder world, low and slow or turbo they are tasty.

Dream Weaver, maybe. Orb Weaver, no. BTW, what kind of Dizzy Pig would you use with Orb Weaver, and would you use mustard?
