Egg table complete and finally an Egghead

Finished my table on Saturday just in time to pick up my Egg from an Eggfest on Sunday. Thanks all for posting successes and lessons learned to help me and I was able to come home and drop the egg in with no issues.
Did my first mini cook for desert tonight with some stuffed baked apples.

I am trying for a small as a "traveller" but apparently "enough with the BBQ's already" from my wife. In time I am sure she will come around

Patience with the wife. They don't see things as we do. Nice tableikolsteren said:I am trying for a small as a "traveller" but apparently "enough with the BBQ's already" from my wife. In time I am sure she will come around

Yes that is a granite top and cedar. The granite was chosen from a maintenance and weathering point of view. I didn't want to have to worry about putting a hot Dutch oven or greasy tongs on it. I had a lip put underneath like a regular counter and it fit so perfect that I didn't even glue it down. Which makes it handy if I ever need to move off my deck.
And the cedar was some scrap I had left over from a shed I just finished and I treated with deft oil exterior finish which is a tung and other oils with a uerethan -
Beautiful work! How did you make the lattice on the side?

Lovely!
1large BGE and 1 well used mini BGE living in coastal South and North Carolina! -
Wow...Very Nice...

Lattice work was just some fence boards ripped down to about 3/4" and spaced the same. One the verticals in the back and horizontals in front. Brad nailed from the inside. Was going to notch each one but it is for outside :-)
