Very nice indeed. Enjoy your new table. The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.
Holding the company together with three spreadsheets and two cans connected by a long piece of string. -
Very nice table. Way to go. Thanks for the construction pics. Inspiring for us novice woodworkers.-Jody Newell (LBGE & a 36" Blackstone griddle).

I selected the casters based on the size of the mounting plate, the ability to lock, and the load bearing capacity. Anything larger and the plates would have been bigger than the table legs. I don't anticipate moving the table all that much anyway. It will only be moved around when I need to re-seal the deck each year (or two). Thanks for the question. One of the reasons I started this thread was to generate discussions about design options, materials, and building techniques.

Beautiful job on the table build. Mine is very similar but I like your added touches of the egg support and of the arches in the apron. Where did you get the cover?

Wow...I'm shocked to find this thread has been dredged up from over 2 years ago.

@ETBee beautiful job man! Btw are you going to put a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the corian recess? That or on the table top beneath the recessed edge would help keep water out.
