Rutland Gasket

Fused my lid shut and have to replace my gasket. Going to replace it with a Rutland gasket. Any tips on putting one in other than using the cement? Younonlymput the gasket on the bottom of the lid, right?

Yup bottom only....or one side only really, you could do the top of you wanted.
