Tried this one over the weekend and smoked for probably an hour, maybe more. I put too much smoke on it and can’t eat it. I am not afraid to try it again and will try to follow directions better next time. 😂

I would think if you just put your fully assembled Mac & Cheese dish into the egg and smoked it that would be a sufficient amount of smoke.  Then give it a stir, top with more cheese and broil it in the egg or somewhere to make the top look nice. 

I wish I could smoke all this stuff but SWMBO is really finicky on where she likes her smoke flavor
